Records that posted content has been taken down: sets status=‘taken_down’ and unposted_at, and keeps posted_url and posted_at so the history survives. This is a RECORDING; Citable does not remove anything from the platform itself. For BLOG content it also submits the URL to IndexNow, so search engines drop it sooner. Use this when:
  • The content was live (mark_content_posted was called) and has now been removed, and its URL no longer resolves.
Skip when:
  • The content was never marked posted. That’s an error.
  • The page is still live. Remove it first, then record it.
Idempotent: re-calling keeps the first unposted_at. Calling mark_content_posted again later (a re-publish) clears it.
