Reddit is one of the highest-signal sources AI engines pull from for B2B questions — and one of the trickiest places to show up well. Citable’s Reddit integration helps you spot threads worth jumping into and drafts the replies you’d want to post.

What you get

Once Reddit is connected, Citable can:
  • Monitor a curated list of subreddits where your audience asks your category’s questions
  • Surface threads that map to prompts you’re tracking for AI visibility
  • Draft replies in the voice of your chosen insider persona
  • Score each draft for likely fit before you post
Replies appear in your queue. You review, edit if needed, and post yourself on Reddit. Citable then records the live URL and starts tracking citation impact.

How to connect

  1. Open Settings → Connectors in Citable.
  2. Click Connect Reddit.
  3. Sign in with the Reddit account you want to use for read access.
  4. Approve the read-only scope.
The connection pulls in your existing subreddit subscriptions as the starting set. You can refine the list anytime — most brands narrow down to 5–15 subreddits where engagement actually matters for them.

Posting today

Citable does not currently post to Reddit on your behalf. You post manually, then paste the live comment URL back into Citable (or click the Mark posted button in the queue) so the citation tracker can pick it up. This is a deliberate guardrail. Reddit’s community norms are sharper than most platforms, and an auto-poster would create more risk than the time savings would justify. The drafts get you 90% of the way; the last 10% — the actual click of the post button — is yours.

Why Reddit specifically

AI engines learn what’s worth citing partly from third-party conversations. Reddit threads age well — a question answered well in 2023 still ranks high in 2026 — and they’re machine-readable in ways harder-to-crawl platforms aren’t. For most B2B brands, three or four well-placed Reddit comments per month outperform a much larger LinkedIn cadence on AI citation lift. The right ratio depends on where your audience actually spends time, which the connector helps you figure out.
