# start_pdp_optimization

> Proposes field-level changes to this brand's Shopify product pages (PDPs) for a person to approve.

Proposes field-level changes to this brand's Shopify product pages (PDPs) for a person to approve. It analyzes each live page, saves an immutable baseline\_snapshot, and creates proposals. It never changes the store.

Input (all optional):

* shopify\_product\_ids — exact Shopify product IDs to analyze (max 5). Skips ranking.
* select — when ids omitted: "top" (best sellers, default) or "least\_sold" (zero-sale live SKUs — lower risk).
* limit — how many to rank when ids omitted (default 3, max 5).
* windowDays — ranking window in days.

Needs a drafts or write key (LLM + database side effects). Nothing reaches the store until a person approves each proposal (decide\_pdp\_proposal) and someone with a write key publishes them (publish\_pdp\_changes with confirm:true). After READY results, call get\_pdp\_run to read the proposals.

Skip when: the user only wants a product list (use get\_top\_products).
